I have been spinning for 30 + years. Coast to coast. Nightclub. Rave. Mobile. I have experienced much of there is to experience. One consistent brand of gear that has been by my side...NUMARK. I have owned several of their components over the years, and was a Numark dealer in the nineties. Before Pioneer, Denon or even Rane were common in the DJ marketplace, Numark was being used by turntablist worldwide. This controller is no exception. An awesome combo of features, reliability and price point. The notion that you can't use this controller for live shows is ridiculous. I have been doing so for two years. 24 Bit sound, functions and features that 90% of DJ's use. The ability to connect my 1200's and my Maschine Mk3 is a added bonus. A nice compact, light but sturdy, easy to use controller at a price point that allows me to not worry when I am performing and something gets scratched or dinged. Experienced D'sJ should be able to adjust to the jog wheels just fine. Look up some vids. There are guys spinning circles on this controller. In final, one of the things that hundreds of shows have taught me, is that the gear doesn't make the DJ, the DJ makes the gear. I have seen DJ's get schooled on their Pioneer decks by guys spinning on a Numark NS6ii.

Hello all! Riddim/Dubstep Producer/DJ here. To begin, this is NOT recommended if you want to start playing live. I suggest looking into a CDJ or XDJ. However, this is an amazing beginner controller to help anyone who wants to get a feel for many buttons, knobs, and pads. The sound is amazing and the controller itself is super portable and light. I would recommend this to anybody who wants to start DJ’ing. NOW for the only cons I ran into came only 1 year after I purchased the equipment. Mixers 1-2 started cutting audio and now they’re completely mute. It’s like an infection, it spread to mixers 3-4 and now they cut audio too. I have to put a certain amount of pressure on the sliders to hear sound. The left touchscreen slider is also broken with no reason. This does not stop the controller from being amazing and with some DIY fixing, it’s just as good. Don’t turn your head on this if it’s caught your eye, Numark puts lots of love in their love. Sadly, I’m switching to the big leagues with pioneer!
