These Texas Vintage pickups get that traditional 1950s sound and can take you into Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Shepherd style tones very easily. The only drawback is they are noisy pickups. But that is a traditional thing with them.

Alright , initially , after soldering the jack and ground , plugged it in and strummed , I though...yuck...WTH ?!? And was ready to send it back...luckily , I didn't...because with each passing day they sounded better and better ! It was like they were settling into their new surroundings and once they felt comfortable really let loose with some major tone...
