I mainly use this mic for recording acoustic guitars/instruments and it is very difficult to find a placement for this mic that sounds bad. Yet it picks up so much detail and has incredible frequency range. Did a shoot out with a few others and while this one is a more expensive option you certainly get what you pay for. Hi-fi sound in spades.
