"Awesome Controller"

I just un-boxed it and plugged it in after downloading and installing the Cubase integration package. This keyboard is awesome! The feel of the keys is perfect for me, a bassist and non-keyboard player. I thought I'd have to adjust velocity curves right out the box but I didn't. Very soft velocities like a piano but with a semi-weighted synth feel. This is a great investment and replacement for my old Akai MPK61.

"nektar Impact LX88 Review"

This 88 key keyboard is under priced. If you are a keyboard player and want a nice 88 key controller that is capable of controlling your DAW & Plugins, this is the one. The keys are not stiff and are easy to play, unlike some of the popular 61 key controllers I've owned in the past. I always wanted an 88 but they tended to be clunky and didn't do much as far as control. I am very pleased with this product.

I recently purchased a blem version of the Nectar LX88 from Zzounds and when I received it, it looked practically brand new. I questioned the shipping container bits but figured it was ok. I plugged it in and set it up according to the instructions but noticed it was not behaving as expected. It turned out there was a problem with the keyboard. Zzounds immediately sent out a replacement keyboard and once I received, everything worked perfectly, 1st time. I love the deep integration with the knobs and controls. The key action is what you would expect on non-weighted, value keyboard but it is still very usable. I am extremely happy with this keyboard for the price I got it for. I would highly recommend this to someone who is looking for a full 88 keys and wanting the DAW integration (provided the DAW is supported). I would highly recommend getting a keyboard cover to keep the dust away from this and preserve the life of this keyboard. I sought out to put together a full recording studio for a budget of around $600 which includes an electric guitar, bass, keyboard and DAW and the Nektar fit the bill - may God bless you with whatever keyboard you set out getting. Thank you Zzounds for taking care of me! (Please note, I gave 5 stars on sound, but there are no sounds in this keyboard. It is only a controller. It will only be as good as the sounds in your DAW. I also gave 5 stars to manufacturer support even though i don't have personal experience with that part. I am going off of what I have heard from other reviews.)

"Fantastic feel and flexible controls"

The impact is just what I needed in terms of a lightweight 88 key semi weighted midi controller. It has enough controls and templates to handle any DAW you use or standalone software with learn functions..the keyboard has enough spring and resistance and feels smooth to the touch. This is great for the price.

This controller hits the sweet spot that has been missing in controllers. Lots of bells and whistles, a really decent feeling keybed, light weight and a great price. This works perfect with an Ipad and doesn't drain the battery much. It comes with Studio One and bitwig but I have not had much luck making those work as easily. The LX88 has three zones unlike the LX61. I like it so much I'm thinking about getting a second one to stack over the first one for a new live rig.
