Honestly, I'm blown away by how delicious this microphone sounds. I remember this mic being around $300 when it first debuted and I was intrigued once I found out some guys from Blue Microphones got together and made this thing. I hadn't heard much about it and it does look funny. It's a great sounding mic. I've been using the Blue Bluebird for about 7 years both while in audio school as well as in my personal home studio. This mic sounds so much better. Amazing, rich, velvety sound.Well built piece of gear. And it comes in beautiful packaging as well.Get it before it's gone.

OK - This is a Win/Win Mic. So take advantage of the fact that everyone thinks its physical appearance and BeeLine Gimmick is more than they can bare. - Ignore them -This is a seriously great Mic.I own two E200 Vocal Mics from Blue and this Mic was built buy original Blue Tech designers. Go read early release reviews - everything they say is true! Sounds great - Accurate clean sound.- I will admit I have not used it on vocals yet - only Podcasting. Bu I can tell its rich and clean.I will repost once I have recorded some vocal music, but I can tell its going to be amazing. Grab one or two before they re gone at this price - This mic is worth 300-400 for sure - I am going to buy a second one..And laugh at those who couldn't get past the Bee theme. LOL

This mic is extremely sensitive but very detail captures natural qualities of the vocal.
