Nady MPM-4130 Deluxe PA Customer Review

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

Good bang for your buck. If you have to compete with multiple Marshalls, maybe shell out some more loot. Otherwise, it rocks.
Features
Decent little delay. I only use the shortest setting. Works great; slapbacky.
Ease of Use
Super easy. One knob for highs, one for lows. Effect mix. All you need in a package like this. The tape send/return is a handy feature if you want to DJ or listen to recordings at band practice.
Quality
Everything is what you'd expect. PA is decent quality. Mic is what it is; a budget model wireless. Speaker cables are cheap, but they work. I used higher quality speaker cables and noticed no real difference. 10s do rattle a bit; if the bass guitar amp is cranked, try them on the floor. Or slide an old sock over the tripod before mounting the speaker. Tripods themselves rule.
Value
Worth it. Multiple uses for the weekend music type player.
Manufacturer Support
Never had a reason to call.
The Wow Factor
Stunning. Her name is "Pam". Literally. It's on the box.

Overall not a bad package for the price. However I find that the wireless mic system that comes with the package to be terrible. I happenend to have a wireless mic system that made the rest of the package sound much better. Very peppy and clear sound with a decent mic.

I bought these to be my personal monitors. You definately get what you pay for. The amp kept heating up and shutting down, rendering them useless. Luckly I had my Peavy PR15Ds thumping enough to hear. As I type this theyre on their way back to zzounds who, by the way have exceptional customer service!

"Nady PA System"

I was quite disappointed with the Nady....after unpacking and setting up, couldn't get any sound from the mike and accessory jacks. I could only get sound from the RCA input jacks. Loud buzz emitted continuously from the speakers. It cost me $120 to return to ZZ. I orderd the Fender Passport PA as a replacement and it set up and worked like a charm. Guess that teaches me about saving a few bucks with an off-brand system like Nady. We use the PA for House Concerts at our home.

Musical Background:

Musical Style:

Very Eclectic....Attended many different venues from Woodstock, the Fillmore (SF),Blissfest, Ravinia Festival (classical), vario

If you want a good system for practice or a small gathering then this is a very good choice. Would not recommend for large gigs or gatherings. 130 watts of power perfectly priced for situational use.
Sound
As with any PA system if the singer is good and its used correctly it sounds good. Lucky for me I know a good singer.
Features
Its a great system for practice. I currently use it at home and cant complain. 4 channels high and low controls. Speaker stands were very impressive.
Ease of Use
Its so easy to use and operate which sometimes is overlooked. In fact my nine year old daughter operates it with no trouble at all.
Quality
Seems to be of pretty good quality. No mechanical or electrical issues of note so far.
Value
Its roughly $ 350.00 Its great when I want a friend to sing along while I play the guitar or keys. My wife and daughter use it kind of like a karaoke set up to sing along to their music. Put a price on family happiness.
