I was not happy at first. But the more I play the more I realize the harmonic depth and incredible feel this pedal gives. It is not a gain monster, but the level of usefulness for a tube amp, especially when close to overdrive, is incredible. It won’t change a bad initial sound, but it will give a great sparkle of perfection. All my favorite pieces of gear have done the same thing.
