Even if you're not a fan of Green Day, there are so many great sounds you can get out of this stompbox. From crunchy overdrive to metal, the tone and blend controls are very responsive. I've only had this pedal for a short amount of time, but it's going to be a mainstay on my board. This seems to be a limited run, so if you're curious about MXR's current offering, try to snag one up.I've been a big fan of MXR and their products, and this definitely knocks it out of the park for me.Also, the artwork is awesome.

You don’t have to be a fan of Green Day to use this. This pedal has superior versatility to cover multiple genres. You can adjust the blend and gain knobs to achieve the sound for specific songs on the Dookie album. Using the scoop switch in the pedal and adjust the knobs you can get a high gain Tone/crunch similar to Slayer. Lastly it has two internal trim pots to further adjust gain and crunch to your liking. It doesn’t come with a manual particular to the pedal itself, but the Jim Dunlop MXR website offers documentation online. Rumor is it’s limited run so don’t delay pick one up before it’s too late!
