I've purchased this mic holder twice in the past few months. The first time, it broke after three uses (a spring popped out, went flying, and rendered the clip absolutely useless...without the tension from the spring, it just flops and doesn't hold anything). The second time, it broke after ONE use...the whole clip mechanism snapped clean off from the base of the clip. The idea of a clothespin-style clip is so great while performing live, but I found that it was really tight and not easy to maneuver onstage in a quick, seamless manner. I won't be purchasing this again....such a waste.
