I had ordered 1 of the new peavey hp2s from zzounds recently and when it came to me it had a broken bridge pickup. It worked out for the best that I returned it because this guitar is absolutely incredible. I had an older amber quilt axis with a plain birdseye maple neck and for whatever reason I just love this one way more. The neck is insanely beautiful, just look at that flame on it, I've never even seen a neck like this before. Sound is what you'd expect out of an axis, nothing super new with this model that I can see. Overall a fantastic guitar that you really just want to hang on the wall and look at. Definitely glad I went for this over the peavey hp2.
