What a nice sounding amp. It's my first all tube amp and I am very well pleased at how much better the sound is over most solid state amps. It's very easy to use, and is plenty load for most rooms I play. The only recommendations I wouldake is to play it through a 2x12" cab, or upgrade it to a 12" Celestine green back speaker. Other than that it still sounds amazing through the included 10" one.

Ok, the first day I got this I considered returning it. I could not find a setting that matched the style of rock that I play. It was shimmery, and bright with the tilt, and sounded nice but not was I was looking for. Then I put on the Tube Screamer and an Overdrive pedal and oh dear lord, this thing wails! It holds a note or a chord forever until it actually feeds back, and I am standing at least 12 feet away. It is quite simply the best amp I ever heard. And I have six amps. Sadly it looks like it no longer available on zZounds, or it is just out of stock.

Well I got my Marshall Origin 20C yesterday and the JHS 3 Series Reverb pedal today. Got everything hooked up and after a little adjusting, this little amp rocks. Then added my Boss SD-1 overdrive pedal and I'm in ROCK $ ROLL HEAVEN!!! And as for Blues it's just as great. I'm disabled and just play in my apartment so the low power setting(.2 watts) is working out fantastic. Thank you Marshall for making this super little amp and thank you zZounds for hooking me up with the 12 month payment plan. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

El-34 tubes at bedroom volume? It sounds awesome! I have it on the low power mode since I live in an apartment but I can easily get the clean overdriven Ac/dc sound with my SG. Of course it also sounds great with a les Paul. Haven’t plugged any effects directly into the amp nor used the foot pedal that came with the amp yet. Will test it out this week but other than that, the amp is awesome and for the price of what you can do with it at whatever volume you want is even better

I will admit, when I first got this amp, I was kinda worried because it sounded pretty thin and brittle. I tried and tried to dial it in. After getting frustrated, I decided to dime everything out. MAGIC. This thing sounds great. I would say it pushes the limit of a “domestic” amp. Dime everything out, adjust the tilt to your taste, and you absolutely can’t miss with this amp. I play through an American Strat and a Gibson Les Paul Tribute with Seymour Seth Lovers. Sounds just as great with both. I haven’t even used any pedals yet. No need. Plug it in, turn everything up and enjoy!
