"It's light, it's loud, it's inexpensive & it sounds good !"

I will wear this amp out.
Sound
What a great amp ! The clean channel is very clean...my electric sounds like an acoustic guitar, but loud. The Contour control (lead channel) brings in a full bodied guitar tone. I prefer the slight 'breaking up' overdriven sound this Marshall has. I switch back & forth between the clean acoustic guitar sound and the warm, singing overtone sound. The FX are very clean and usable. I mostly use a touch of delay. Overall: It's light, it's loud, it's inexpensive & it sounds good !
Features
There are 2 downsides to this amp, IMHO. #1 - The FX aren't foot switchable (why?). I'd like to be able to click the delay in & out. Or, reverb ob the clean channel, delay on the lead channel. #2 - The Line out jack disconnects the speaker (why?). I'd like to feed the signal into the PA. But, I also like to have a little control over my stage volume.
Ease of Use
Very intuitive. No problems.
Quality
It looks very well made to me.
Value
Well worth the price paid !
Manufacturer Support
Back in the day...I owned a guitar repair shop. Marshall was a great company to work with.
The Wow Factor
It sounded so good..I had to own it.

You can't afford not to buy it. If your looking for a small amp to practice through and play an occasional gig with, look not farther.
Sound
Outstanding. This little amp rocks.
Features
The 4 digital effects are very simple to use and they sound great.
Ease of Use
They couldn't be any simpler
Quality
Safely packed in two boxes, it was blemish free.
Value
This amp is worth very penny. Okay so your not going to play The Garden with it but it's loud enough to play small clubs with a reasonable drummer.
Manufacturer Support
Can't really coment on support. Haven'y had any problems requiring a call for support
The Wow Factor
Hey man lets not get carried away, it's a little amp for God's sake but it works great and sounds better then great.

Marshall MG30DFX Amp Customer Review

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
VERY good amplifier for the electric guitar beginner!!
Sound
Well, it's a very nice amp, the clean channel sounds very warm. The Overdrive is very strong.. I think that its sounds very good if you play Punk or Grunge style (like Nirvana). The effects sounds very good I like the Chorus and the Reverb... The Delay is also good for the beginner. I think that this amp should have a Middle knob in the clean channel (also in the overdrive chanell even there's a Counter knob). The last - The clean channel is not louder at all.
Features
it's a not a big amp , but the MG30DFX is bigger then the Fender Frontman 25R that i checked. has many knobs :) Why the power cable can't be disconnect from the amplifier !?!?!? it's terible to me becuase i must use a special correlation to connect the amplifier to the power soket :(
Ease of Use
Easy to use ! in the amp's box there is a helpful book with suggested settings
Quality
Very good quality of wood it made. the amp is heavy (11kg!) and massive the front panel looks beautifully.
Manufacturer Support
Doesn't have any problems with Marshall yet.

Tried out this amp at a Guitar store I frequent. Plugged in a Dean Razorback and chugged a few chords.Holy SMOKE, this amp cooks! I bought it immediately and took it home. Now I gotta hide it from my teenage son, the REAL Gear Head in the house...

"Sounds great for unplugged guitar performance"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
For a long period of time!!
Sound
This amp sounds great. I use him for amplification of my accoustic Fender with pick-up. On the clean channel he has a bright and clean sound with enough volume. Much better then several combo's designed for accoustic guitars. When I play solo i can adjust the overdrive channel in uncountable types of sounds in combination with the effects. It gives playing the accoustic guitar a new dimension. If you dail the gain of the drive channel low you have a nice crunchy sound for rythem guitar. Great!!!!
Features
The reverb sounds fantastic. Chorus sounds nice but is not useable in combination with reverb. What a pity. And it is a pity that the line out mutes the speaker!! When i'm recording with my combo, i have to use the monitor of the mixing console. but for this price it is a great Marshall combo.
Quality
This product feels Very reliable!

I've been playing guitar for 3 years and this amp is a good intermediate amp that I enjoy using just to get me a nice sound whenever I feel like jamming.
Sound

Features
The dfx is a nice feature on this amp that gives it the extra little sounds.

It's put together very well. I've had this amp for a year and I've had no problems with it.
Value

"No better buy exists!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
If I lost this one for any cause, I'd go right out and buy another.
Sound
For this size amp the sound is great. I use my Gibson Les Paul through the amp and it work fantastic with rock, country, blues, etc. It won't play a concert but it's a fine practice or small gig amp. What else would you expect from a Marshall?
Features
The speaker is adequate and this amp is loud. (Marshall's are supposed to be loud!)I like the ease of use and the controls are easy to see and well arranged. It's made in Korea but the Marshall quality is evident.
Value
It' worth the price.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't used support.
The Wow Factor
Marshall good looks, Marshall quality. I'm proud to carry it with me.

"DONT BUY THIS."

Overall: 0.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
im shipping this thing tomorow and im glad to be rid of this terrible amp. if u think u want this amp, dont get it. get a blackheart or some low watt valve amp. this thing isnt loud at all for 30 watts. a 5 watt blackheart could be louder.
Sound
bad sound no character and barely any desirable tones. i just got rid of this amp i play a gibson les paul studio into it and on the clean channel u cant go past two without getting a nasty clipping transistor overdrive on big chords. even though solid state amps can pull off decent(at best) overdrive sounds they will never match the character and feel of a tube amp which is why solid state amps suck.
Features
it has lots of features.
Quality
lots of ppl on forums rant on how it breaks mine hasnt though.
The Wow Factor
its bad. solid state amps have an automatic 1 on the "i want it".

"My little Marshall amp"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
everything considered, it a fairly bue with a great sound and it's very light to carry...
Sound
I always wanted a Marshall but they are expensive. With this amp I got, at last, a great tone with my Hamer Sunburst with Seymour Duncan Invader pickups
Features
it definitely needs a pedal to change between normal and overdrive
Ease of Use
Very easy to use
Quality
I don't have problems with it.
Value
Good value for the money
Manufacturer Support
Well, here in Peru were I live, the support is really scarce...
