Marshall Custom Shop C5 Pinup Guitar Amplifier Head, 5 Watts

Don't be fooled by its small size and low wattage -- the 5-watt C5 is powerful enough to get classic Marshall crunch while playing at home or in the studio.

Really nice non master volume amp. You can turn it up and still be in the same room with it. It is not truly a plexi as originally marketed. It is a single ended class A tube amp. The features presented give you a vintage vibe and are easy to use. When used with a Les Paul, Strat , SG or Tele you get that late 60's early 70's tonal pallette. Pairing with the right speaker and cabinet type will also affect your final tone. It takes pedals well but sounds best running straight in. This is a tone beast disguised in a small package. I run mine into a 1x12 Celestion Greenback loaded cabinet and I can easily pull out a classic Kossoff and Thin Lizzy tone out of this amp.
