After a number of trips to Guitar Center to Take this Guitar off the wall and play it, I decided to purchase one. I currently own Three Guitars, My best one and one that I play gigs with is a Taylor DN3 with a Lyric Mic Pick-up. Needless to say this is my favorite for a number of reasons. Easiest to play, Sounds the best, to name two. There is a negative however. Sometimes Sound System doesn't like the Lyric Mic Pic-up,,,,Feedback and no Volume at times. The other 6 string is a Peavey DW-3 which is a great, $400 guitar, but the neck at the nut is 1.625 which makes for capo issues up the neck. The last one is a Takamine 12 String, and it has no faults. I needed a second 6 string that was close in Tone and overall Performance to the Taylor DN-3 and I believe this Martin does this and more. I was also considering a PRS Acoustic but could only find them on line. I had to visit my local Buffalo Music Store to return a pedal Friday and what did they have? A very "Cherry", (Perfect), GPCPA5 for $499, a Trade for an signed Electric. I quickly took it in hand, Checked it out thoroughly, Plugged it in to test Preamp, and Laid down the cash. What I really like about this guitar is the Playability. The neck is just a bit wider than the Taylor and easier to play, especially with a capo. The tone is close to the Taylor and Plugged In it will be more consistent, and any tone difference will be minimal. What Luck!

Can't beat the performance and sound per dollar for this guitar. Plays great, super sturdy for gigging with the Martin dreadnaught sound live and amped.
