Love this guitar! Has a very raw distinct look and sound. The mahogany all solid wood body has a very nice dark tone to it. I play live shows frequently and I’m also a recording artist as well. Very happy with this guitar for both scenarios. I actually plan on buying a cheaper Martin for traveling and gigging purposes so that this one doesn’t get damaged or stolen. Strongly recommend purchasing this guitar!!! Also the included hardshell case is a plus!!!

Martin's GPC-15ME is the finest all wood Mahogany acoustic/electric guitar with more real playability, sound, and features than any other guitar model in the same class and price point hands down!
Sound
It is nearly impossible to fully describe the beauty and warmth of the GPC-15Me using words alone...Until you've experienced first hand the sound and feel of an all mahogany Martin you don't know what you're missing. This newest Martin model is just what you need to play it all from blues to country and everything from mild to wild, in the studio or on stage!
Features
The long list of high-quality features, materials, and workmanship give this Martin guitar more bang for your buck, plus the iconic Martin quality and sound cannot be imitated or matched by any other guitar maker! Features like: All genuine mahogany, Indian Rosewood fingerboard & bridge, Dovetail neck joint, Grover nickel silver open back Butterbean tuners, Nitro-cellulose satin finish, All mahogany neck, real bone nut, and saddle, and a TKL 330 hardshell case
Ease of Use
This guitar will almost play itself! The ease of use is what makes a Martin guitar a truly one of a kind instrument! It is easy to tune and it stays in tune...no matter how hard or aggressively you play.
Quality
The selling point of every Martin guitar is the fact that they are made to last forever and with normal care, your Martin guitar will easily provide you and anyone who plays it a lifetime of playing pleasure, quality, and enjoyment. The only element I do not 100% care for is the battery compartment & input jack for the Fishman Matrix VT pickup system, which is located at the bottom near the end strap button. While this new design makes it possible to change the 9v battery without removing or loosening the strings, I believe that more thought should have gone into the battery compartment and input jack and strap button. Rather than using the standard 1/4" integral input jack/strap button system, Martin has opted for a separate input jack & strap button of which is not as appealing as the typical input jack/strap button combo. While the Fishman Matrix VT electrifies that iconic Martin sound, its apearance is slightly different than the average Fishman end pin/input jack isn't placed properly within the end sound block, causing two distinct issues; the first is the location of the strap button which is roughly an inch and a half from the top of the guitar with the input jack set where the integral jack/button should be, this drastically changes the angle in which the guitar rests/hangs when a guitar strap is used, and using a low strung strap can cause the guitar to shift into an unsafe or possiblly an unstable position when agressivly moved, clearly the only safe solution is to use strap locks to ensure that the guitar will not come off of its strap buttons. The second issue is the possibility of the input jack becoming loose or damaged as it is only held in place by the plastic housing battery cover. While this new Fishman design system is vastly different than other Fishman designs, the input jack does appear to be substantially different in terms of overall durability, function, and quality.
Value
Martin "All wood" guitars are known for both their financial & musical value and as they age their value steadily increase! Even though I do not care 100% for the battery/input jack/strap button design, it's a minor issue in comparison because there isn't another guitar manufacturer who makes an all mahogany guitar at the same price point!
Manufacturer Support
I have only had one need for Martin's customer service since I purchased this guitar, and that was to inquire about having an authorized Martin service center perform a professional set up on my new guitar since I like lighter strings & my action as low as possible without buzzing. I was given the details for the nearest Martin dealer and after taking my guitar in I wasn't even charged since it only took a few minor adjustments to suit my taste!
The Wow Factor
The wow factor is off the charts for me... mostly because this is my first brand new Martin guitar, and while my beautiful Martin slowly ages I look forward to experiencing how the sound and sensitivity slowly ripen and mature like an exotic fine wine.
