I've been wanting a martin acoustic for as long as I been playing guitar..started at 10yrs old in now 64.i recently had a very nice taylor that i have no co.plaints about.it was absolutely great however my long timex want for a martin had to co.e true so i went with this extremely affordable Cash...just recieved it today..want to say the overall quality at this price is outstanding..doesnt sound like the taylor ring or any other I've owned. Has very warm and sweet sound that i would expect..i cant stop starring at it .its beautiful ..also very co.fortabke and the action is spot on to my liking..took me a bit to find the vol and tone contrs that are cleverly inside the sound hole..but the fishman electronics are second to none of course..this is going to finally be my keeper..I'm i love and barely chorded out a few patterns to get the feel and sound and I'm very pleased with this guitar already and I'll be paying her tonight and for now I just want to allow myself to pinch myself and say ..I GOT A MARTIN!!

Been a player/performer 45+ years, owned some great guitars, and some not so great. So OK I had to get over it not being 'real' wood. But it's so cool looking, and it's a Martin sez me. Then I played it. OMG. Usually takes me a while to become close with a guitar... but this one. Great tone, very playable. Unboxed, tuned it up. This is one precision stable beautiful unique instrument. OK, it's not a D35 (yes they make D35 Johnny Cash models as well, which is what the Man in Black played) BUT... it's 1/10 the cost and to my ear about 80/90 percent of the sound.... so for a retired guy like me.. perfect. Ah, not only that but it's on the light side due to the HPL materials, so, I can wear this thing for hours. Pretty tough finish too (which is important when wearing a guitar around the house lol). Did I mention it come pre-PLEK'd since it's a Martin... If it fits your needs, buy it now is my reccomendation.
Sound
Very responsive, surprisingly warm tone given the materials. Apparently this proves most of the sound comes from the bracing design (as some luthiers claim), because they got this right.
Features
I love the stability of this guitar. Due to the HPL it is seemingly impervious to humidity changes, maybe more stable to temp changes, don't know. I tune every guitar I touch and this one never needs any lovin. I mean NEVER.
Ease of Use
Well the greatness of sounds is up to the player. This thing will pretty much go where you need to go likely tho
Quality
Extremely well made. Very tight fit and finish.
Value
This is worth several times what it costs in my opinion. Thank God it's not priced that way.
Manufacturer Support
Have not had the need.

"Great Guitar For The Price !"

I bought this just over a week ago. I was previously playing a Martin OMCX1E which I bought in August of 2021 and down the line, was not happy with it. I needed a more fuller, deeper , tone and this one delivers in spades. This is IMO, the best of Martin's X-Series and I can see why it's been a great seller for them. the sound from tis, is what a HPL acoustic should sound like. It stays in tune like forever, and is just one beautiful looking instrument . I'm not a fan of the included gi bag and may be changing it for a HS case . Other than that , I am very happy with this one.

I've got 6 other gutairs after picking this one up I'm convinced it is by far my favorite. The sound can't be topped and for the price it's a no brainer. If you want a amazing gutair for a great price I would recommend this one.

I have been playing guitar professionally for over 50 years..I have played many acoustic guitars and this is one of the best I have ever played...right out of the box it was ready to play...no blemishes or noticeable defects of any kind...the sound is warm and big...does not sound like a typical Martin with the twangy bottom end..the top end is bright; but not overbearing..the bottom is a little darker; but very full and pleasant ..sort of a cross between a Martin and a Gibson tone. Bottom line..this guitar plays and sounds way above it's price point..I highly recommend this guitar especially at this price...this guitar holds it's own against instruments twice it's price point..if your looking at acoustics at a higher price..try this 1st...really nice acoustic guitar!!

This guitar is worth more than the asking price..I have been playing guitar professionally for over 50 years and I have played acoustics twice what this cost and didn't sound as good as this one..it's warm and full, not as twangy as say, a d-28..more a cross between a Martin and a Gibson with the full darker; but very cool bottom end..no marks, blemishes or negatives upon opening the box.looks great with the flat black finish...it was perfect right out of the box..all notes clear up and down the neck and set up well, it plays beautifully and sounds great. Now for my negative...the electronics are kind of weird..it has this strange eq where you turn the wheel to one side and it cuts the mid range for finger picking, or that's the theory. It does cut the mid strings out and I hate it..lol....when you turn the wheel the other way it's suppose to bring back the mids and make it full range; but I found it still messed with the mids and once again, I didn't like it..this was through an amp though and I am going to use it on the gig Monday and see if it still does it through the PA. None the less....BUY this guitar if you are in the market for a really great sounding acoustic..highly recommended!!!
