I bought a Martin D-12E last year and I was completely pleased with it. I decided to add a 12-string but my fixed income budget just won't cover a high end guitar right now. I discovered the D-X2E.It's got great tone, was set up well out of the box and easy to play, and the Fishman electronics sound very good to my ears. The price is a steal.

Just got this today and I surprised how good it sounded right out of the box, it has great tone! I give it an 8 out of ten only because it needs setting up the action is a little high for me! also, the battery that shipped with it is dead lol no big deal, I'm sure my rating will go up after I set it up! Thanks, zZounds for pay as you play it really comes in handy for us starving musicians living from paycheck to paycheck. I will buy from you some more as time goes on!

Nice guitar. I can easily tell the difference between this model which I just bought, here, from a USA made one: then again one could buy a few of these ones for the starting price of a new USA made Martin 12 string.Very nice gig bag. Well constructed. Fishman MX electronics with the batter door where it should be at the output jack plate.Plek'd at the Martin factory, but I am going to have my tech adjust the action, not bad just a little higher than I like.

What more do you want at this price point with free shipping. Well built, sounds good.Fishman MX electronics, already installed heel joint strap button, Tusq saddle and nut and bridge pins.

Only had for a week or so.I have always wanted a Martin. I have had several12 strings over the years Conn., Yamaha,and 2 Fenders. This Martin is by far the nicest guitar I have ever had . Easy to play,great sound, and stays in tone...believe it or not. A real issue for 12 strings as everyone is aware of. Lived with it all these years. If I had know. Thank you
