This is the Martin 000-28 reimagined standard series and was originally released in 2018. Although it is technically a "redesign" I believe Martin refers to it as the reimagined series or simply the standard series. If you're looking for video reviews of this guitar search "Martin 000-28 standard series reimagined."The Reimagined Series adds modern appointments to the original design such as scalloped X bracing and a high performance taper neck that is complimented by period correct nickel open back butter bean tuners, a Herringbone top inlay, diamond and square Abalone fingerboard inlays, aging toner (not to be confused with VTS i.e, Vintage Tone System) and an old style script overlay. It sounds, plays and records like a dream.Playability 10/10 Tone 10/10Projection 10/10The guitar arrived quickly and in flawless condition.

I've owned my 00-28 for over 15 years. Martin wasn't aging the tops at that time, but mine has taken on a natural patina, even though I rarely play it outdoors. To my ears, a dreadnaught hastoo much bass, while the 00's and 000's have more mid-range.While I have other acoustics, this Martin remains my favorite.
