1st off zZounds was fantastic...shipping speed great! The keybed has a great feel and the general layout is fantastic. Even though M Audio list Reaper in supported DAW..Its the only DAW they do not have ANY info or support on their website..Every other DAW there is supporting Doc. 49Pro used a basic drive for controlling Reaper..and to be fair..I did get the transport and slider to do their basic fuctions. What I was really counting on was using drum pads to assign reaper actions and shortcuts. The Pro 49s midi2 driver is only fro proprietart control...Meaning no standard midi messages are sent in either of the other drivers to Reaper..So no go on the pads doing anything useful for me. I am not a pad drummer or an Ableton guy. Sadly I will be returning the unit.
