I've been playing music for over 50 years and when I first saw this instrument, just by the looks, I knew exactly what I was getting into! When I played this bass, It left me with a"smile that you can't buy"!! When I was able to say something, all I could say was Wow.I recommend this multi-facet , guitar to both pro and starter level musicians.I can guarantee that the new owners of these basses will be completely satisfied and will tell everyone about this wonderful stringed masterpiece.

Intial reaction: Wow! First, this is one beautiful guitar. Second, Sounds great!, Third, Easy to play.I play electric bass and 3/4 Stand up bass. I needed something to bridge the gap and maybe a bit smaller since the stand up takes up almost all the whole car. This bass guitar does the trick! It is beautiful. So, Now I've played two gigs with it already. It took me a couple of days to get the intonation figured out (where the notes are) and used to the feel and sound dialed in. It gets a good "Mwah" sound and other variety of sounds. This is great for "un-plugged" shows. I run this through a TC electronic MIMIQ mini, Carvin DI, into a Phil Jones Session 77. A smooth, solid, deep sound.
