By far the most beautiful top guitar that I own, the spalted maple top is a head turner! overall sound is very articulate with the Rosfield p90s. I tried to determine witch pick up selector position that I liked the best, all three positions are very good! the neck feels good with the modern C shape and the Jatoba fretboard is beautiful. The tuners are ok for standard tuners and the frets have no sharp edges and look good. set up was great out of the box, so pleased with it. Would I replace it with another one if something happened to it? heck yes!!!

Picked up the gloss black model and I am very happy. That being said, some things needed attention before it was truly playable.Guitar was very good finish-wise, good paint, clean and no obvious assembly flaws. That being said, about 30 minutes needed to be invested to tighten all the tuners, polish the frets and change the strings. Strings included are awful. Frets were good, but did need a polish. All of these needed adjustments are typical with a lower cost import and I'm not trying to be too critical of Michael Kelly guitars as the pick ups are terrific and playability of this instrument (after these little tweaks) is outstanding. Intonation, incredibly, was spot on out of the box. So, a little LTC on the tuners, fretboard and a string change and I gigged with it the next day. Great little guitar for the money. Very pleased.

I'm really anxious to receive my 59 Thinline that I recently ordered. All my other guitars are either pre 60s Gibsons or Fenders. I'm a Berklee College of Music graduate that knows a fine instrument when I see one and do research on it. This Michael Kelly guitar is definitely a fine instrument. I'm sure, I'll be very pleased with it! If there's one thing I've learned during the past 52 years of playing guitar is this... Don't get hooked on the name of an instrument! Get hooked on how it plays and how it sounds!!!

this company should be absolutely ashamed for how terrible of P90 pick ups they put on this thing ;they hum so badly that it’s completely useless even on clean settings.had to completely gut the electronics just to make it playable!Never again will i buy a Michael Kelly guitar
