I owned the original axiom 49 and fell in love with how it felt like I was playing a grand piano. I was in search of a new controller since my original met an untimely demise and this baby came about! I've fallen back in love with making music because this controller feels great, responds quickly and gives me exactly the touch I need with any genre of music I create. Thanks again M-AUDIO.

For the hefty price tag of $400, I expected a lot more in the quality department on this midi. Over all it has a very cheap and "plasticy" feel to it. Not a very solid feel to it at all. The pads were not very responsive as well. They improved from the Pro model axiom, but M-Audio still has a long way to go in the trigger pad department. The sliders and knobs were POORLY crafted. They looked very unfinished and they were not even or aligned. It just looked like very low quality work, and "rushed' like they just had to make the midi in hour and move on to the next one. I would have like a better quality feeling piece of equipment for the price tag. I kept it pass the return policy date, so I ended up selling it online and eating the money loss. I am next going to try the 49 key Oxygen V3 and see if that is any better. Check my review.
