8.2 Overall, I will have this product for another year.

The sound is clear and crisp, if your having problems with the quality of the sound, put some damn money towards a decent pre-amp or mixer.

Most useful feature is the RCA/Tape I/O
Quality
Nothing wrong here. The product is clean.
Value
Reasonable price.
Manufacturer Support
I have not yet needed support.

"Avoid this. Get something else."

I should have returned it (it was past its return date when I opened it) or sold it and gotten something more reliable. M-Audio dropped it like a hot potato once they saw how terrible this product is. The latest drivers (version: 1.5.4.15) were written in June of 2003. Doesn't that say something about their support?
Sound
Good sound quality, cumbersome/minimalistic software interface.
Features
Installation is a headache if you're not versed in technology. It sure isn't plug-n-play. It didn't come with all the "free software" i.e. stripped down limited edition software it said it would.
Quality
Not too dependable when one has to worry about it crashing.
Value
Nope, not worth it.
Manufacturer Support
I've gone back and forth via email and phone with Tech Support and problems with XP crashing with even the latest drivers. I finally gave up.
The Wow Factor
It looks good, but I don't care so much about looks, as long as it works. I'd go with someone else other that M-Audio.

"Not satisfied"

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
The driver is a very poor quality. You have to switch the module on anf off several times before having a sound of acceptable level, noise free, with acceptable quality, and balanced right/left. In addition, the driver has to be reinstalled quite often. And the sound quality is nothing fantastic. Bottom line: since I bough it, I never really used it.

I am returning this and buying a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum.
Sound
This sound card sounds absoluty fantastic!
Features
Right out of the box this card seems great...
Quality
Well made.. no problems there.
Value
At $250 this thing is a waste of a lot of good money.
Manufacturer Support
Had to wait for 20 mins (on a long distance call) before I got someone on the phone - this was before getting NO REPLY from an email I sent them.
The Wow Factor
It looks good on the side of your monitor.

"Mac OS X drivers seem unreliable."

Overall: 0.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I'm still waiting for usable drivers.
Sound
The sound seems okay, when it works, except there were occasional drop-outs -- this might have been the fault of the computer, not the Audiophile USB, but it was a fully loaded 1 gHz machine.
Quality
The physical quality seems okay. The Mac OS X drivers appear to be unreliable. It works for a while, then it doesn't work, then I reinstall drivers, then it works for a while, etc. Also, I have far more system crashes when these drivers are installed. It's just not worth it.
Value
This was more trouble than it was worth, at any price.
Manufacturer Support
Their support department replied that they hadn't heard of the problem, but suggested I should update to the latest Mac OS. This didn't help.
