Got a couple sets of the extra light (D930) strings put one of the sets on my Gretsch G5425. Easy on, tunes well and after stretching the strings it holds tune very well. The bass is strong and no too overpowering and the treble was bright without being tinny. The middle was a little underwhelming at times, but I'm not sure if it was the strings or the amp I was using. When I changed amps there were no issues. I would definitely use these again. Next up will be trying a set out on my Les Paul, after I burn up the strings on it.

I bought these strings to try them out( Ernie ball) is my main set but I can honestly say almost like my skinny top heavy bottom. I can't wait to break them in and get jamming. As always zZounds have set the best shipping benchmark fast hassle free and if any problems what so ever just give custom service a a call no qualms or quarl.

First time i use this brand, for $3.50 there is nothing cheaper, and you get what you pay for, after 2 weeks of playing the high 3 strings were starting to show wear, turning dark and "rusty", i do play my guitar 2-3 hours everyday so i could say its normal wear, but if you play your guitar from time to time im sure they will last for a few months in good shape, so again for $3.50 its a great value! Get some! Long live the crow lol
