"Marshall mg dfx"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Any one of these are awesome, someone said they could not dial in a good sound with one, I cannot imagine why, I am about to get the 30 watt one in a couple weeks, I had the lil 15 watt one and it had me hooked, I am a player of thrash metal and frankly the sound with my boss DS 1 distortion pedal tweaked and the overdrive a quarter of the way up was perfect! If you cannot get a good sound out of these Marshalls then maybe find a new hobby, these are great for any style of music!

"Great Sounding Amp but limited instructions"

Bought the Marshall mG50fx about 8 months ago along with a Classic Gibson Les Paul from Zzounds, and love them BOTH. The amp has a wide variety of sounds from distortion to reverb to clean, and I have no idea why some claim they cannot dial it in, unless perhaps they didn't read the VERY limited manual that accompanies the amp. Unfortunately, the manual is VERY limited and therein may lie a problem (Marshall should provide more detailed instructions as opposed to leaving it to the purchaser to find their sounds) and some experimentation is required. Having bought the amp, I am now purchasing the Marshall stomp pedal so that once I do get my sound correct I can program it in to the pedal for immediate recall, and it would also be nice if the manual that comes with the amp would address that as well. Having said all that, I'm VERY please with the product just not so much with the accompanying lack of detailed descriptions of settings. Hope this is helpful.

Bought this at a great deal.I had it for 30 days and sent it back for a refund.I could not for the life of me dial in a sound with my Fender Blacktop Strat with humbuckers.Marshall should be ashamed of themselves for putting their name on this horrible POS.Went and bought a used Peavey Vypyr 30 for $135.00 and had great sounds in less then 24 hours.Blows this marshall away.Very underrated Peavey Vypyr amps . Great tube sounding amps and also feel.
