I haven't traveled with this pedal, so I can't speak of build-quality with some strain on it, but just sitting in my basement with my set while I jam, it's been great for the price. No issues. Make sure if you use an electronic drum kit, to turn the beaters so you are playing with the hard part against the drum heads so you don't mess up your mesh heads over time.

I've had this specific pedal for about 5 months now, and after moderate use, the pedal broke. Would not recommend for the gigging musician
