These aren’t as good as the thump 215, honestly the 1300w Thump 15a is even a little better than speaker. You can get used thump15a (1300w version) for around 250 used and that’s probably the route I’d go if you don’t mind used gear.It’s not a bad speaker but was looking to replace my thump15a and I think I might just keep these as back ups/monitors

I have 4 of these two are my mains, two are monitors and they have clean sound and more than loud enough for a busy 5 peice band. Been a fan of mackie for 20 yrs. It's true the low end is lacking but thats why you need an 18 inch sub to have a more rounded sound, don't confuse the mids and highs with these either.
