The quality is top notch! It has the best bass response and clarity for the price. If you are a Bassist or someone who just wants to hear what the Bassist is doing, then these are the ones to get in this price range. Everything else in this price range has almost no bass and you would need to spend 3 times this much for adequate bass response. You need to make sure you get a tight fit to reap the full bass benefit. I currently use mine on stage for guitar and bass. I want to up grade to another Mackie brand ear monitor but I cant justify it when this sounds so good. I guess I'll wait until it breaks. I've had this for a couple of years now. The only thing I wish is that Mackie would sell replacement tips. I know anything will work but I really like the ones that come with it. I hope this helps. Stay Funky and Rock on!
