These don’t have a wireless charging case….I repeat…they don’t have a wireless charging case. I did verify this directly with Mackie earlier today. Here’s what Mackie told me (in their best hustle man from Martin voice) “the usb-c cable is charging the case, while the earbuds are in the case, therefore the case is charging the buds “wirelessly”. I almost felt like Lenny from Good Times was trying to sell me a watch.Come on Mackie….your full of the stuff, that makes tomatoes grow. I have no doubt Mackie knows what “wireless” means in 2022. You couldn’t add a wireless charging case and just charge an extra $20.The marketing information is very misleading and to say they charge “wirelessly” is quite the stretch. Even the rep I talked with at Mackie stated “Well that’s strange.” I’ll say it is.Again, this might not be an issue to a lot of folks, and could be nitpicking on my part. I’m going to say….not though. I’m sure I won’t be the only person who misinterprets “wireless”, and hands over a cool $150. Well, since I couldn’t return them, might as well give them a listen. They sound great out of the box and I’m sure they’ll sound better as they “burn in”. Just wanted to make others aware, that Mackie, evidently does a different kind of “wireless”. That should be their ad campaign “Mackie….where do wireless different.”Well, Mackie you get 1/2* overall because, “I do reviews different.”Mackie if I want to purchase items that don’t match the description, then I’ll buy stuff from Amazon. As always, the service from zZounds was great. In closing, my grandmother told me, “If it ain’t the truth, it’s a lie.”
