These headphones are a great value. I have a set of HD280 Pro's that I will compare these to. These are more fun to listen to than the 280s. These have a nice low end punch that the more sterile Sennheisers lack. This could be good or bad depending on how you look at it though. These MC150s are very detailed and the high end is pretty smooth. The cable on these is detachable and not coiled. The seem to attenuate sound pretty well, but not as good as the 280s.For listening, I would prefer these. For mixing and recording, I'd go with the Sennheisers. I am going to use these in my studio. They are a good way to get quality headphones for your studio, while saving some coin. If you plan on mixing with them, they would
