Mackie DRM18S-P Passive Subwoofer Speaker

The Mackie DRM18S-P is a passive subwoofer with huge bass thanks to a high-excursion woofer and a wooden cabinet. Add a power amp and you're ready to rock! Unpowered. Requires separate power amplifier.

Hello. I have two of these being powered by a Crown XTi2002 bridged mono at 2000W. I've owned a lot of different subs. EV, Turbosound, and JBL. While those all sounded good, these subs go deeper and play louder with my setup. The bass on most professional subwoofers (in my opinion) doesn't play deep enough for modern music. These do. It's like a very loud home theater sub. I'm getting chest thumping 35Hz out of them in my space. Love them! They are quite large but surprisingly easy to handle. Not too heavy.
