Very nice little mixer, let’s me have total control of my mix. I have a dl32 mixer for my big shows you can’t beat a Mackie digital mixer for total control!

I was able to dial in all my instruments and get them to sound exactly how I like and then some. Excellent audio definition because of the luscious head room of the Onyx preamps. Master Fader 5.1 has not come out yet. So you either have to use an Android device on iPad. But it's worth it because of the sound quality.

Our sound guy used this at the gig on Saturday. I’m a drummer and I’m always there early, and am way busy setting up my kit, positioning mics, getting my cases off the stage so I’m out of the way when the others are ready to set up. I was organizing the mic cords and ask sound what side of the stage for the snake.... looked at me s bit funny...and pointed near to my HH stand. Ok. I went to the truck to change and eat a sandwich. Came back...my mics plugged into what I thought was a snake. I looked for the cable that would lead me to the board out there on the floor...but no dice. When I think back 25 years ago...the cost of s mackie 1604 VLZ, midi verbs, 3630 compressors, bbe sonic max, a snake...my...this thing replaces all that and more. If you are pining for the old days, I can hook you up with that sort of lightly used 1996 vintage gear for a good price. I’ll take the profits and buy one of these babies!

I could not get the mixer to connect with my computer at all. Even after I downloaded the latest driver update I could never get any sound to through my speakers. I managed to connect my pad to the mixer with master fader the first day but the second day ,NOTHING. Controls would not work and the saved settings would not even show up.Really frustrated!!!! Called Mackie and that was a joke!!!
