I got this sub because of the Bluetooth functionality and the volume controller. I’m in a small room so a massive sub wasn’t necessary, but I did want something to give me an Idea of how my bass was hitting. It does the Job where before my bass was lacking in my mixes I’m now a bass savage in my productions and it’s easier to get the bass dialed in. Are the better more expensive products out there? Of course but if you are in a small room this product is a great bargain.

I had the product for a year in 2 months before it stopped working . Doing a quick search it appears I'm not he only one. Here is someone elses experience: " I went to my local music store and picked up the Mackie CR8S-XBT subwoofer. I was told to connect the XDJ RX2 main outputs to the Subwoofers inputs via XLR to TRS and then the subwoofers outputs to the monitors again via XLR-TRS. The monitors sound fine and the sub is producing some sound but very little, a lot less then I was expecting."That is EXACTLY what is/has happened to me in regard to the speaker it self. I was using it as I always do and suddenly the sub went out. Now the sub and speakers bounce back and forth between sounding okay and being very low in volume.
