Lynx Studio Technology Aurora 8 8-Channel Digital Audio Converter
8 channel analog I/O and 8 channel AES/EBU I/O. 24 Bit / 192 kHz A/D and D/A conversion. Identical to the Aurora 16 except in number of I/O channels. Pictured is 16 version.

"The Realistic Mastering Quality Converter"
I'm very satisfied with the aurora sound. One thing that still bugging me is the synchrolock time to locking up which is very slow (3 minutes).
Sound
Solid imaging, tight bass, big bottom, nice mids, definitive hi.
Features
This converter has the highest sample rate (192KHz), using the latest converter technology, and has ability to handle and remove/reduce signal jitter. Those are what I'm looking for a good mastering converter.
With aes16, I got a very flexible routing. I can configure the Aurora to parallel sum my vari-mu compressor and as additional ADDA for my next digital processors.
Quality
It's open my ears and then mind :D
Better than my previous Lynx One.
Solid imaging and tighter bass than Digidesign PTHD IMO
Value
I use it for mastering, With aes16, they definitely act as my mastering console/router.
Manufacturer Support
Good TECH-support peoples (Andy and Paul). They answer MY questions immediately.
The Wow Factor
I put four brass cones in the bottom panel. It looks awesome now :D
