The guitar arrived with good action out of the box. Fret ends were well dressed and the guitar has surprisingly good volume and sustain. I bought it for a child and the all-laminate construction is welcome from a durability perspective. It sounds good for acoustic blues work.

It's a beautiful looking guitar, and it's a nice size, but the sound is pretty twangy. It's not even as good as a cheap guitar I bought through Walmart. I would not buy another Luna guitar, and I would not tell anyone to buy this guitar, not unless you just want to look at it. I'm not saying I totally regret buying it, but I would not buy it again, it or any Luna guitar or instrument. I am playing it, mostly to see if it will begin to sound better and not so tinny, but it sounded worse than the first time when I played it a second time. The strings even seem to vibrate. Oh, well. Live and learn. It is pretty!
