This is a fantastic sounding 13" maple snare - a great addition to your snare drum lineup.
Sound
This drum has a warm, full-bodied tone. I wanted a 13" drum with some depth and this size is nice. It is perfect for low-volume settings, and as you lay into it, the sound gets really fat!

The strainer is smooth and quiet.
Ease of Use
This drum tunes easily low or high.
Quality
A very well made maple snare - the bearing edges are smooth, no problems.
Value
This is the best price on a maple snare drum of this quality that I have ever seen.

Best snare for the best price period.
Sound
This is the best sounding snare I own. Not only was it the best price I have seen for a maple snare , its a Ludwig! it has a very funky fat snare sound, and I would highly recommend it. It has a very large vintage warm sound, but also with alot of projection. I love this snare and I dream of playing It all day when I'm not home. If you are looking for the best snare at the best price look no further this is it.
Features
All the lugs and tension rods work great. Has a real good rim shot sound too.
I change the drum heads but thats personal preference.
Ease of Use
Very easy to tune, and very easy to setup.
Quality
The factory control on this snare is quite impressive. The snare srum wood grin is really nice. I love the black wrap too.
