"Cheap pedal good for e-drummers."

Given the cheap price and my use for it, it exceeded my expectations.
Sound
I got this to go with my Alesis DM8 USB kit. It does what it is supposed to do just fine, it triggers the kick drum sound every time.
Features
I wish it had a better way of securing to the kick pad, but it is made for a real kick drum hoop, not e-drum pads. If you were to use it with real drums, there several ways to adjust it. As it is the only thing I did was adjust the spring tension to my liking. It has a chain drive.
Ease of Use
I finally jerry rigged a way to attach it to my DM8 kick pad. It works great.
Quality
I am sure if you are a serious drummer, you could do better. It is very old school. For my application it seems it will hold up well.
Value
Can't complain about the price at zzounds (see below).
Manufacturer Support
So far so good, haven't needed them.
The Wow Factor

affordable pedal that is SOLID - the kick plate really makes this pedal stand out from the other budget models. the pedal feels solid, and has a nice fast and smooth action. i'm using this pedal on a vintage 60's surf kit and it's perfect (even being a single chain drive)! highly recommended for under $50

"A decent pedal from a reputable company."

I bought an Alesis DM-8 Pro Kit from zZounds, which didn't come with a bass pedal so I found myself needing a pedal quickly and as inexpensive as I could afford. This pedal showed to be the least expensive from a company we've all known for year. Being so inexpensive, I was able to order it that day. It's a solid smooth pedal for the price and I think will hold up even if you took it out on gigs with you. I don't like using a double kick pedal (they don't feel natural to me), by only spending $33 totally (S&H) for this pedal will allow me to buy another Ludwig315Pedal and an extra Alesis Real Head kick pad to work double kick action; with about the same price of one low end affordable double kick pedal from a company's reputation I know nothing about. I Have to say, the customer service is above reproach.
