Tracking is excellent, pinch harmonics can get a little funky on lower tunings. Variety of sounds is excellent, the passive pickup is also pleasantly voiced. Best feature is the guitar itself. Feels like a 1500 custom shop guitar, older variax felt like adult software with a kids beginner's axe. This is an amazing step in a very exciting direction.Would have appreciated better world instruments. Harp, Kotolin, Samshein, something to capture that Japanese ninja flavor.Instruction manual should have pointers on using software etc and how to use battery charger. With new tech this is crucial.
