This is a great wireless set up for the average joe guitarist like me. No more cables to untangle every 20 minutes if you move when you play, 10 channels so it gets along with other devices in a band situation, it doesn't break the bank, and it lasts 5-6 hours on a single charge. Well built and fits just about any guitar. This is a winner in my book!
Sound
The cable length emulation is subtle. I normally just turn it off. I have not noticed any degradation in sound using the device.
Features
10 Channels is a must if you are in a band. Everyone else in the band uses wireless so there's 3 other devices (non Line 6) that are competing for frequencies with me. I let them get synced up first then I fire up and I've never had any issues or 'crossing streams'.... I also like the little switch on the jack that disconnects the signal when the receiver is unplugged. It makes switching guitars silent.
Ease of Use
Set up is a breeze. The receiver fits fine in my Strat, PRS, and my Charvel T style with the rear mounted jack plate. The option to use your pedalboard PSU is a great idea! One less AC adapter to deal with.
Quality
Construction is sturdy. Everything fits together nicely. Range is good. I haven't walked out into the street or anything, but I'll never be playing on anything larger than a small club stage anymore and this has plenty of range for that. I've seen quite a few reviews on various websites and while most are positive there's a common theme with the negative. People have trouble at home and it cuts out constantly. I also had that issue and was about ready to return when I decided to dig into it a bit. Quick answer is simply make sure the receiver is plugged into the xmitter when you turn it on. That way it finds the best signal and syncs before you plug in. Started doing that routinely and never had that issue again.
Value
For $250 it's really hard to beat.
Manufacturer Support
I've not dealt with L6 specifically on this product but I've owned quite a bit of L6 gear and support has always been good. They have a very nice website with forums, FAQs and files that should answer most questions
The Wow Factor
The receiver is just great. No more strap mounted boxes with clips that break or battery doors that don't stay closed etc. They finally got their wireless offering right this time!

I'll have to say I was more than pleasantly surprised how well this works. My bass sound is louder and crystal clear. Even running Mogami cables there was always background noise. Not anymore. I can get two shows out of a single charge, and it fits perfectly on my pedal board. When you pick it up, it has some weight to it and feels extremely well made. Definitely a thumbs up on this box.

I want to like these things, but after trying to run 3 of these during our Easter service it became a disaster and made for embarrassing moments. They’d get disconnected from the correct transmitter and either stopped working or came through the others users/persons gear. Had to scramble to change to cable. Ruined some really well rehearsed performances.
