I purchased a pair of these in the hopes of replacing my existing monitors. I compared these with my Mackie Thump 12A and a Turbosound 12" monitor. The Thump and Mackie were vastly louder than the LD.I took them to a sound gig with 2 Mackie Thumps and made sure the stage was quiet. The monitors sounded great but were too underpowered. On a loud stage there is no way these could be heard.LD needs to rework these to have more power than 300 watts.I love the design, but these just won't work for my needs.
