My first amp as a kid was a Crate GX212. Loved that thing. I graduated to a Peavey Classic 30, which is still my all time favorite, but now I am old and live in a tiny apartment with paper thin walls and have no band nor gigging shows in my future. I chose the LG20 for it's simple, familiar control panel and what, at least on youtube videos, was great tone at low volumes. Well, this thing does not disappoint. Perfect chiming solid state clean tones and gnarly crunch and shred tones. Has more dynamic range than the old school, super compressed solid state amps of old, and is also wicked loud for 20 watts. Probably can't play with a full band with a drummer, but I can't turn it up past 2 at home. Most recent amp was a Katana, which I loved and could gig with, but I like the tone of this amp a little better and it is just so small and light. Great work, Laney!
