"Excellent Value - good solid cab"

For the price, the best 1x12 you can get in my opinion. Other budget 1x12 are not as well constructed and plywood is not used at all. With the Kustom, most importantly the baffle is good quality plywood. The rest of the cab good MDF construction. The cab is a great size too - bigger than a cube and not as big as an oversize 1x12. Exhibits good tone across the spectrum. The only annoyance is that the alignment of the screws is off from say a standard Celestion or Eminence. So mounting another driver in there can be a pain.

"A Greenback/Jensen Tone- Nice"

This cabinet had a nice look to it right away. The sound is largely uncolored and somewhere in between the greenback Celestion and a vintage blue label Jensen speaker. A 1962 reissue early 90s Fender Stratocaster was used, with the 5 W defender Kustom Amp head. Set slightly inside a folding door closet it obtained a totally studio Steely Dan type sound. Not unlike an original Roland Chorus120 amp. like a twin reverb but slightly more Marshall because of the closed- back 1x12 cabinet. Killer Rock on dude's

I ordered the kustom defender 112 cabinet to go with me kustom defender head. I am glad I did. Well constructed, great sounding speaker, open back. I really am impressed with this cabinet. The speaker required very little break-in time and sounds very articulate with nice breakup when driven. No need to swap speakers at all. I think I'll buy another. I rated the features and quality at a 4 and here is why, 1st. features, it has none it's a box with a speaker, just what I ordered. 2nd quality, the plastic cover is kinda cheap looking but it was applied well with no wrinkles. Really nothing to complain about, as in this price range, you won't find anything close to this in sound or quality. Money well spent

Nice little speaker cab. Good tone and plenty of volume. Mine doesn't go all rice krispy on me (snap, crackle pop). I paired it with the 5w head and couldn't be happier.

This for the money is a solid deal for a single 12" cabinet. The cabinet itself is solid, the driver a Kustom 30 watt 12, which actually does not sound bad at all. Looks smart, fairly well built for the budget minded.

I have no complaints about the construction or materials used in the cabinet itself. It is well made and looks good. The speaker on the other hand is very middle of the road. It lacks warmth, and is a bit shrill.

The title says it all. Ive been searching for the right sound to inspire my songwriting, and this little tone bomb does it. A little mid heavy, but with nice controllable break up. sweet simple and loud. Running an lp style guitar through a t-rex yellow drive pedal. so much good to say. if youre even thinking about it- BUY THIS AMP.
