No better guitar for the price,it's an actual Floyd Rose special ,I thought it would say something else, and mine flutters, dives ,etc....and stays in tune so far! (2-3 months).Intonation was perfect which was soooo nice!! I put a Seymour Duncan 78 in the bridge with a Quarter pounder in the neck and ...WOW!!! Big difference, especially in the sustain department.Playing out of a Katana MK2 Artist amp.The guitar plays actually better than my old 80s Barretta, and my 90s Ibanez RG 550, no lie!!! Very happy!! Was going to put the Gotoh 1996 tremelo in...but this special is actually fine, so I put it in another guitar!!! I think I'm going to buy another one of these Striker's!!! Super happy!!!

Was hesitant to buy a Kramer again. Bought one back in 2010 and was not very satisfied but I love the older ones so much. They did a great job with this guitar. The neck feels great!!!! Had to make a few adjustments but nothing major. It sounds solid and I'm really happy with the stock pickups. This ones a keeper for sure!!!

I received this guitar after only 2 days. That was impressive. The guitar came in excellent condition. My only issue was the play action was low at the nut and high at the bridge but I was able to fix that by lowering the bridge. I will say if you’ve never had a Floyd Rose I recommend YouTube setup for one. The Floyd Rose was not leveled and the was lower than the body of the guitar It is a bit over-whelming and frustrating but I was able to raise it up and get my guitar tuned. I have an Epiphone Special which is a $200 guitar and the pick ups in this Kramer are not much better than those. I will be changing those out when the time comes. Anyways overall it’s a pretty solid guitar! I’m not disappointed with this purchase, it’s pretty much what I expected it to be. If you’re thinking about buying this guitar and you’re a beginner or intermediate player I would recommend this to you. I’ve been playing for 15 years and have owned a Kramer Stiker prior to this I ended up selling it towards a better one but I have missed it so that’s why I bought another one. Go ahead and buy it and you’ll enjoy shredding on this bad boy!!

I bought this knowing I would change a few things on it. I was going to change the pickups and was pleasantly surprised now I do not want to. These pickups are very strat like in the 4th and 5th position and pure rock n roll to a bit metal with the humbucker. Very nice character! I did change and put some GOTOH made in Japan tuners on it. The ones it came with worked, but not very well. Just know you must get the longer tuning keys because the headstock is thicker. So you will want the 22.2mm length shaft and they will it well. This guitar for the money plays well, came set up intonated, which was very nice! I also changed the springs and positions inthe back. I am thinking of getting another a little later in purple or green if I can find it to do pickup changes I really wanted it for. But this guitar does Alice in Chains type stuff perfectly! So if you are willing to do a little work on it. Its worth it. Just make sure to tighten all the screws up on the bridge. Mine were loose.

I was very much looking forward to this guitar. However upon arrival I quickly discovered that the QC inspector at Kramer never checked anything. Tuners not screwed down in the back. Literally sticking up. The Neck crooked and loose because the neck screws were not tightened. The claw was not centered and was hitting the inside of the cavity. The frets were never done at all.The Neck was also not shimmed at all and had an unplayable sky high action. Intonation of course was never done. If you get one with the number 7 QC inspector sticker on the back look out. Of course zZounds made it right by me, and it is not their fault. But shame on Gibson.

I purchased one a few months back...before reading reviews mostly for the price. The low E tuning key was installed 90 degrees off..how that sore thumb got by qc, ill never know. I fixed the tuning key and after setting it up it actually played great and stayed in tune. Ive installed new bridge posts, a floyd rose fat block and a tone claw for the springs....it is now my favorite guitar. the first guitar i ever played was a kramer...their qc department needs help. Thinking about a nightswan but almost afraid to pull the trigger again.

You’re going to need to know how to set up a guitar like this or plan on taking it to someone who does as soon as you get it. I performed a truss rod adjustment, lowered the action and set it up for play with EVH .009-.046 strings. The strings that come on it are .010, and feel like razor wire. That being said, this is an absolute KILLER guitar! Forget the whole “for the price” business; this guitar plays great and sounds absolutely amazing. I’d put it up against guitars that cost five times more, no joke. If you want some slammin’ 80’s metal/Van Halen tones, this is your guitar. It stays perfectly in tune dive bomb after dive bomb, and tapping is easy as well. People always talk about changing the pickups, but I see no need for that. I play through a Boss Katana Mk2 50 with brown sound, a bit of delay, boost and reverb (got the Boss through Zzounds as well). Fit and finish is excellent on my particular guitar with NO SHARP FRET ENDS! A little tweaking and this guitar is truly great. I highly recommend it! I gave it 4.5 stars on ease of use simply because of having to do a setup. I have not had to use customer support.

I was so impressed with my first Striker that I purchased a second one in red that I keep tuned down a half step. I honestly can’t say enough great things about Kramer and these guitars! I received my new one yesterday and unboxed it this morning. All I did was lower the action, tuned it up and it was ready to go. Amazing sound and tone! There’s no reason to spend $1100 on a guitar when the Striker is every bit as good. I like this guitar much better than the two EVH Wolfgang Standards that I’ve owned. I play Sabbath, Dio, Van Halen and the like, and this guitar does it all with ease. You will NOT be disappointed!!

This guitar plays awesome! Didn't really have to do anything to it other than tune it. I couldn't get a better price anywhere else. And it sounds great. Will definitely be buying more products from zZounds.
