the sound is amazing. it sounds just like what you'd hear on a van dyk or oakenfold CD. Extremely awsome for those working the trance side of electronic music. Sounds great with Logic and i use it with Reason's drum machine. i've got it running through a tascam interface into my mac. however, i highly recommend the m-audio firewire 410. i've used it and it rocks!

You can really make tons of modifications to your sound. The patches blew me away. You can also really create your own unique sound

Everything on this baby is awesome! All the knobs and buttons can keep you makeing 50 different sounds and more all from changing one sound file with the buttons and Knobs.

Very expressive synth. You can make any sound if you tweak it long enough. You can save your sounds to a computer via SysEx if you have a midi cable and an adaptor. I write alot of different electronic styles and this synth delievers. The ONLY thing i don't like about the MS2000 is the seq editor can be tricky.

It has an awesome stereo delay...and you can send audio through the inputs and put the FX over the sound. So, it's a godsend if you want to intergrate a synth with a live dj set.
