I'm not incredibly familiar with the work of Andy Timmons, but from everything I've seen and heard the man knows tone, and Robert Keeley knows how to build pedals. This is a great pedal. Very responsive to your guitars volume control. So much so that I think I can eliminate my super low gain pedal that sits in front of this and just work my volume knob to achieve that edge of breakup thing. It's got a great range of overdrive and sounds good at all gain levels. It's not going to get you into metal territory on its own but that's not what it was designed for. It's a Blues Driver on steroids. Check out the videos on Keeley's YouTube channel. It does not disappoint.
