These are exceptional speakers, not to polite, lively, matched well, great imaging. Amazing. There was only that little, tiny bit of Power Amp noise presence. Other than that, these are just Magnificent and non-ear fatiguing. Just next level really without competing against itself like some do. I have the first Version so There is that Power Amp Floor noise. I have discovered a simple way to reduce quite a bit, simply, use optical, get a decent Desktop DAC with volume control, like the Fosi Audio DAC Q4. I reduced almost 90-95% in my opinion. I can't wait to experience more of the same from these Guys. Don't even think about it, get some Kali's Now before the Apocalypse, lol. They Punch way above their price point. Exceptional. Hey Kali, how about trading me out for the newer version, I'm a poor disabled Vet and I'm getting old, looking for more audio nirvana man!I'll give solid 5 stars if you trade me out fair?

I have been using a pair of JBL 305P MKII's for a few years and absolutely loved them but I decided to give them to my step-son. I looked and looked for the right upgrade and finally settled on these. Best decison I have ever made! Let me do my best to break down my experience.Packaging - These monitors are packaged extremely well. The styrofoam is very dense and keeps them very safe. The are double boxed and include footpads and a power cable.Build Quality - These speakers are tanks. Not because they weigh a tob but because they are built so well. They just feel premium when you pick them up.Setup - Setting these up is a breeze, especially if you are upgrading. Do make sure you adjust the DSP on the back of the speakers to match the placement of the speakers in your space. It really makes a huge difference.Sound Quality - If you have the volume knob on the back set to 0 these are very neutral and in the best way possible. If you turn up the db evern slightly they are brighter, punchier and fuller. These are hands down my favorite studio montiors I have heard now. Whether you are mixing or casually listening they are fantastic!Value - This is so subjective that you can't tell someone what will be value for them. I personally think these are exceptional value. I feel the highest compliment I can give them is they are worth every cent I paid. Conclusion - If you are in the market for a quality entry-level studio monitor you can not beat these. Just buy them, you won't be sending them back.

I started off with BX8s and upgraded to OG KRK-8s.Then decided to check out the Kali LP-8s.I really want a 3-way setup. With have the IN-8s at our studio now. There are unique and pretty damn accurate to the sound. However, I'm not a fan of the hiss all of the 8's seem to have. This is not a defect, most people will know what I'm talking about. So I decided to go with the IN5-3ways for my home studio/gaming PC setup. I could not be happier with my decision. Now I do not have a sub for my home setup, and it's not needed at all.Not only are the mids and highs amazing, but I was blown away by just how much low-end they have. I had to tame the lows some. This can be done perfectly with monitor room correction options on the back of them. The IN-5 3 ways may very well be better and more accurate than the IN-8'sGoing to do a side-by-side at the studio soon.I think we may just add the IN-5s to the setup.Don't let the 5" scare you. These are damn near as big as my other 8s.And have more than enough of what you will ever need. The 3-way is what I feel like I have been missing in all my studio monitors now that I hear them.Crossovers just don't compare.Buy these, and you will not regret it for a moment.I will up again in about a year to see how they have held up.2/21/23!

I have been mixing for a decade. I've used Tannoy for years and mixed through JBL, PreSonus, and Yamaha monitors. Hands down, the Kali 3-way kills it. Don't hesitate. Purchase the pair. Worth it.
