JAM Pedals Rattler Limited Distortion Pedal

For gain that goes from smooth to brash, the Rattler is JAM's take on an old favorite. New-old-stock LM308AH chips give this analog tone machine its sound.

Yes, it’s a bit expensive but the tones you pull out of this pedal justify the cost. And that leather covering is just the icing on the cake. I have a 2006 Fender Pro Tube Twin loaded with a pair of Jensen AlNiCo Blackbirds that I’ve been using the Rattler Ltd. with and with this pedal I can go from that classic Fender clean into the low gain side of the pedal and go from blues to classic rock like a dream, and I can also use it stacked with the gain channel and get some solid hard rock tones. But the high gain side of the pedal takes things to a whole new level and gives me that 90’s grunge tone in spades, and then just goes into this incredibly articulate and saturated fuzz that gives the stoner/doom thing. The control knobs are very sensitive and just the slightest adjustment makes a considerable difference which gives you an extremely versatile pedal. This is my third pedal from Jam Pedals and all have been top notch in tone and build quality. I was definitely on the fence about paying $420 for a distortion pedal without hearing it in person first, but I decided to go for it and I do not regret this purchase in the least.
