This is an all-around great guitar for the money. I had it for about three months and the only thing I changed was the bridge from a FR special to a FR 1000. It's not a really necessary upgrade, it's just the 1000's are easier to use.
Sound
I have it tuned to Eb with DR tite fit 9-42. It sounds and feels good. I want to bump it up to Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky 9-46 to see how it handles the semi thicker bass strings.
Features
I love Jackson's neck specs. 24 jumbo frets, 12"-16" compound radius fretboard, graphite reinforcement rods.Very sturdy.
Ease of Use
This guitar is very playable.
Quality
Every Jackson I've ever owned was made very well. No complaints.
Value
Pretty much, yeah. There are other options, but this one is good, too.
Manufacturer Support
Never had to deal with them personally.
The Wow Factor
It's a neck through soloist with great pickups and a pretty good Floyd Rose for $700. It's also easily upgradable if you'd be inclined to do so.

Musical Background:

Eight or nine years

Musical Style:

Mainly thrash metal and death metal.

Classic Jackson Soloist at a great price! The Duncan Designed HB-103s (imported Duncan Distortion set) actually sounds pretty good! The Floyd Rose Special isn't bad, you just have to remember to not gorilla tighten anything down. All in all, all of the hardware works as it should.I have a silverburst one like this, and an older white one from 2016. Both are great! The only reasons why I modded either of them is because I have specific components that I prefer. If I would've left either of them 100% factory, they would still be pretty dang good.
Sound
Definitely suited for hard rock and metal, but could work for all genres.
Features
Most useful features are definitely the neck through construction, 12"-16" compound radius fretboard, jumbo frets, high output electronics, and made for a Floyd Rose.Least useful? I can't really think of one except maybe the Floyd Rose Special, because even though it's pretty good out of the box, it'll most likely wear out over time because of the materials used for the saddles.
Ease of Use
Like I said, the pickups sound pretty good, so all of the tonal bases are covered. The only thing that might be considered as a learning curve is if you're not familiar with setting up Floyd Roses.
Quality
It is made very well. No problems at all with fit and finish.
Value
In comparison to today's market, it's price is very competitive.
Manufacturer Support
I am yet to have to talk with the company because their products never really gave me any issues that I couldn't figure out myself.
The Wow Factor
It's a neck through superstrat with humbuckers, a Floyd Rose bridge, and a shred-happy neck. In my opinion, it's very appealing.

Musical Background:

Been playing music for about a decade..

Musical Style:

Mainly thrash metal and death metal, but I do enjoy some good hard rock and blues.
