I was hesitant to get this because of the gold hardware. Now that I have it the gold is fine. Gives it a bit of different character. Actually like how it looks in person. Everything about this guitar is Nice. Price-nice. Action-nice. Feel-nice. Tone-nice. Playability-nice. Fretwork-nice. No dead spots or sharp ends some of the nicest fretwork I've seen in this price range. The pickups are nice enough but I will be changing them out for real Duncan's. I like a 59 in the neck and a custom trembucker in the bridge. ( T-B 5). I'm glad I bought this guitar.

If your looking for an affordable guitar that has a punch to it, this is it. The neck and body are fantastic. The Duncan Designed pickups are hard rock and 80's metal friendly. The Floyd Rose is fantastic. The Jackson machine heads hold tune. The only issue I had was the tone pot was loose in the mounting hole and the 3 position selector switch was not wired correctly. I fixed these issues myself and I am satisfied with the overall performance of this guitar. I've been playing for 42 years and think this is probably one of the best lower priced shredtars.
