Just received it in the mail today. Quick tune up and set the action to suit me and away I went. Great feeling neck thin but not too thin. The appearance of this instrument is just stellar. The quilted top looks almost 3 dimensional. The Floyd Rose special is leaps and bounds above the Jackson branded trems that used to come at this price point as are the Jackson pickups in this guitar. They are thick and well balanced and not muddy unlike the older Jackson pickups which were garbage. Overall it’s an instrument well worth its price and more.

Took me weeks to find a guitar that matches my specs. Floyd Rose? check! Explorer inspired body? check! 24 jumbo frets? check! sick paint job and the ability to kick f****ing a**? Check!it took a new set of strings and some patience to make this baby sounds like magic, if you're a metal head like me and wanna shred, then i recommend adding this guitar to your arsenal!

My Guitar came damaged looked like a spear came through the box damaging the binding next to the neck looked like it was speared but zzounds was great at swapping it out no charge and fast shipping they are really good at that if it is damaged. But once I swapped out the pickups this guitar is a beast. The factory pickups are ok but they are not for metal if that’s what you are looking for and I forgot how much of a pain the FloydRose can be with tuning. But it stays in tune with the dive bombs and that’s all you can ask for lol. I wish the neck was thinner but it has a good feel kind of like little bit flatter Schecter neck if you have ever played one. Oh and last but not least good luck finding a case I bought two from zzounds that did not fit they were even in the recommended part below for cases, luckily I could use one. The second I bought wasn’t wide enough and returning something to zzounds that is not defective is a pain in its self and they charge you for return shipping unless it is defective or broken on receipt, you’ve been warned lol but over all zzounds is a great company and I still recommend them 100% all of the time to everyone. It is just hard to find a case that fits lol.

zZounds is just simply the best for online equipment shoppers!!! The case was not right but they made it right it was no big deal. I have ordered a ton from them and they always deliver. Now on the the guitar stays in tune, rather comfortable for an odd shaped guitar. The finish is immaculate.
